Early Child Care

Our Early Child Care and education program is provided for children ages six weeks to five years of age. We are a 3 Star rated program licensed by the Dept. of Human Services. We have two pre-school classrooms that are supported by United Way's Read to Succeed Program in which the DLM and Frog Street Curriculums are utilized. 98% of the students who complete our pre-school program are Kindergarten ready. A modified age appropriate curriculum modeled after the DLM read to succeed curriculum is utilized in our infant and toddler classrooms.

School-Age Care

Our programs offer enriching learning oppmiunities in a fun environment for maturing school-age children. This includes before-school and after-school care, back-up or emergency care for school holidays and closings, and exciting summer day camp programs for children 6- 12.

Family Education and Engagement

Eighteenth Avenue strongly believes in the value and importance of the family.  Understanding the integral role parents and guardians play in the healthy development of children, challenges us to not simply service children but to support their families.  Our quarterly parent education workshops empower families to advocate for their children and ensure the utmost success.  Our monthly make and take workshops provide tools for families to support literacy at home.  Our reading incentives encourages families to read and it builds a love of reading in children.  Our family night, open house, and other social gatherings promotes camaraderie and support between families as well as provide insight to the staff on better ways to service.
